Invitation: APMEN TechTalks webinar "Vector Control in Complex Situation"
Event
Zoom Webinar
APMEN41

Combating malaria is a complicated business. But some situations add to the complexity, such as major flood disasters when resources are over-extended and access denied, or unregulated border movements by large numbers of people, or even across large geographic land-areas such as in India with a very heterogeneous mosaic of vector distributions and transmission intensities and insecticide resistance patterns and a mix of rural and urban transmission. How do countries cope with decision-making when confronted by such complexities? This webinar will look at some of these situations, describing some of these challenges and how the challenge is faced.
