Moving Towards a Case-Based Surveillance and Response System for Malaria Elimination

Meeting Objectives:

  • To discuss and prioritize the challenges and barriers for national malaria programs to implement case-based surveillance and response activities
  • To review approaches and tools available for improving surveillance and response activities in a World Café-style forum
  • To identify the solutions and action points for implementing case-based surveillance and response activities
  • To summarize and identify the key priorities to be included in the SRWG 2018-2019 workplan, and priorities to be elevated to the 2019 AGM meeting and Ministers
  • To identify synergies with the APMEN Vivax Working Group
