Surveillance and Response Working Group Meeting

The APMEN SRWG and VxWG hosted their annual meetings back-to-back between October 17-21 in Bali, Indonesia. Each working group hosted an annual meeting in addition to a half-day integrated meeting on cross-cutting themes related to case management, P. vivax, and surveillance and response. The SRWG meeting featured sessions on the forthcoming WHO Malaria Elimination Operational Manual, foci identification and response, and rapid reporting technologies for malaria elimination. A training workshop was also held on mapping malaria transmission foci using open source software.
